Summary
This VIP allocates legacy XVS market rewards to the XVS Vault Rewards smart contract.
Description
This VIP Proposal will allocate legacy XVS market rewards to the XVS Vault in accordance with the Q4 2022 buyback and allocations. The last legacy XVS rewards allocation was made in July 2022 with VIP-67 for a period of 6 months hence, the necessity to top-up the Vault Rewards for another 6 months period.
January 1, 2023 to June 30, 2023 = 180 Days. This VIP will allocate 180x525= 94500 XVS
Reasoning
With the launch of the Venus (XVS) vault in 2021, the original incentive policies related to XVS rewards have changed.
The original XVS market deposit and borrowing rewards on our core money market have been canceled in 2021, which means that users no longer receive XVS rewards in the core money market.
This part of the rewards has since been used for the XVS rewards deposited in the vault as a base APR of 525 XVS per day.
