VIP-146 New ankrBNB market in the DeFi pool
Summary
If passed, this VIP will add a new market for ankrBNB into the DeFi pool.
Description
Related to VIP-134 and VIP-136, this VIP will add a market for ankrBNB to the already existing DeFi pool.
Risk parameters
Following Chaos Labs recommendations, the risk parameters for the new market are:
Underlying token: ankrBNB
* Borrow cap: 4,000
* Supply cap: 5,000
* Collateral factor: 0
* Liquidation threshold: 0
* Reserve factor: 0.25
Bootstrap liquidity: 39 ankrBNB - provided by the ANKR Treasury.
Interest rate curve for the new market:
* kink: 0.8
* base (yearly): 0.035
* multiplier (yearly): 0.1
* jump multiplier (yearly): 3
Liquidity Mining Rewards
500,000 ANKR for 30 days, provided by the ANKR Treasury. 50/50 for suppliers/borrowers in the new ankrBNB market.
#### Security and additional considerations
No changes in the code are involved in this VIP. We applied the following security procedures for this upgrade:
* VIP execution simulation: in a simulation environment, validating the new market is properly added to the DeFi pool with the right parameters and the expected bootstrap liquidity
* Deployment on testnet: the same market has been deployed to testnet, and used in the Venus Protocol testnet deployment
